A man in his 50s is in serious condition after suffering a cardiac arrest while fishing off the Wexford coast near Hook Head. Emergency services were alerted around noon on July 3, responding promptly to the situation. Rescue 117 participated in the emergency response, retrieving the man from a fishing boat that had struck nearby rocks, situated approximately 150 meters from the shore. He was transported to University Hospital Waterford, where he remains in very serious condition.
