Homes under construction set on fire in suspected arson attack: York police | CBC News
Briefly

York police are investigating an arson case after two homes under construction were set ablaze in the Township of King last weekend. The fires, reported around 6:30 a.m. on Saturday, engulfed the unoccupied homes, causing no injuries. Surveillance footage captured two men in a grey Dodge Durango carrying jerry cans, who are believed to have ignited the fires before fleeing the scene. Police urge anyone with information about the suspects or the incident to reach out to them.
The fires happened Saturday morning in a new-build residential area near 15th Sideroad and Charles Baker Drive, police said in a news release.
Video footage from the area posted to YouTube by York police shows two men driving up to the area in newer-model grey Dodge Durango.
The homes were unoccupied at the time and no one was injured, police said.
Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact York Regional Police.
