Toronto will host a New Year's Eve main concert stage at Harbourfront Centre featuring Lu Kala, Kalisway and cootie catcher. The evening will be hosted by Mayor Olivia Chow, drag performer Makayla Couture and CP24's Jessica Smith. A 10-minute fireworks show will be held at the waterfront and streamed on Culture TO's YouTube channel. A post-show dance party with DJ KIMWVN will run until 1 a.m. Harbourfront Centre's Winterfest will include a DJ skate party, light installations, food vendors and a winter maze. Additional events and viewing locations include Sherbourne Common, the Toronto Music Garden, Sugar Beach, Harbour Square Park, HTO Park and HTO Park West.
