Briefly

"We have very warm air across southern Ontario and actually had warm air across northeastern Ontario yesterday," said Kimbell. This unusual warmth is attributed to a significant pressure gradient.
Peter Kimbell noted, "We've seen it many times before" in terms of high temperatures in October, referencing records from as far back as 1876.
Ian Borsuk stated, "While Hamilton's hottest Halloween is not in itself a smoking gun, it’s indicative of a wider trend toward a warmer climate," linking local events to global warming.
The forecast high of 24 C in Hamilton is 13 C above the historical average and could break the record set in 1971, illustrating extreme seasonal shifts.
