After years of saving for their trip, they learned that someone had hacked their Air Canada travel credit, using it to book a luxury flight for a stranger. Despite their disbelief and distress, Air Canada directed blame at the couple, suggesting they were negligent in securing their email and the newly launched Air Canada digital wallet, which they were neither informed of nor had used.
Even more baffling, they say the airline told them the theft was the couple's fault claiming the couple's email had been hacked and that they had failed to secure their Air Canada Wallet, something they didn't even know they had.
