"A 66-year-old woman who was hit by a vehicle last month while walking died Thursday from her injuries, police said. Authorities did not identify the victim immediately, pending notification of relatives. In a statement, police said the collision happened on Nov. 15 about 2:20 p.m. on San Pablo Avenue at Waldo Avenue. She was unresponsive when rescue crews arrived. A medical helicopter airlifted the woman to the trauma center of the John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek, where she had remained until her death."
