Woman dies, man in critical condition in domestic violence case

"Redwood City police are investigating a homicide in which a husband allegedly shot and killed his wife and then turned the gun on himself, police said today (Dec. 8)."

"Officers were sent to the 1300 block of Seaport Boulevard just past midnight on Sunday after a security guard called to report a suspicious vehicle, according to police."

"'The preliminary investigation indicates the parties are married and were reportedly experiencing marital difficulties,' police said in a statement. 'Evidence at the scene suggests the male shot and killed his wife before attempting to take his own life. A firearm was recovered at the scene.'"

A husband allegedly shot and killed his wife and then attempted to shoot himself in a vehicle on the 1300 block of Seaport Boulevard just past midnight.
