"Met Éireann has issued a Status Orange rain warning for Cork and Kerry from midnight on Saturday until 11pm that night, predicting very heavy and persistent rain, with highest accumulations in mountainous areas of Kerry and west Cork."
"Both localised flooding and difficult travelling conditions are expected, Met Éireann said, as the rain will become lighter overnight with temperatures of 9 to 12 degrees."
"On Sunday, rain will gradually clear and sunny spells and showers will follow, some heavy, especially in Munster, with highest temperatures forecast to be between 15 to 17 degrees dropping to 7 to 11 degrees."
