'Unusually bold' coyote killed after repeated attacks on dogs in California, rangers say
Briefly

National Park Service rangers euthanized a coyote that posed a threat after repeated attacks on dogs and increasingly bold behavior towards humans at Crissy Field.
"An individual coyote continued to attack pets, including on-leash dogs, and eventually began to display unusually bold behavior toward people unaccompanied by dogs," rangers said.
Coyotes are highly adaptable, able to thrive in various environments by eating a wide range of food, from mice and voles to insects and garbage.
Experts advise against feeding coyotes, allowing pets to roam, and suggest reporting aggressive individuals to wildlife officials to avoid human-wildlife conflicts.
