"The Aug. 27 incident prompted a school evacuation and a police search of the San Anselmo campus. No explosives or suspicious materials were found, Central Marin police Sgt. Jeff Peterson said. Detectives investigated, obtained search warrants and connected the incident to the suspect, Peterson said. He was arrested on suspicion of making a false bomb threat. Authorities booked him into Marin County Juvenile Hall. His name was not released."
A bomb threat at Archie Williams High School on Aug. 27 prompted an evacuation and a police search of the San Anselmo campus. A 17-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of making a false bomb threat and was booked into Marin County Juvenile Hall; his name was not released. Courtney Goode, superintendent of the Tamalpais Union High School District, notified parents and staff and said the district will pursue disciplinary action under its policies and state law. He said false threats divert resources, disrupt learning and cause emotional trauma.
