
"An autopsy has determined a 17-year-old girl found dead Friday morning near the Contra Costa County Fairgrounds was the victim of a hit-and-run traffic collision, police said. Authorities have identified the girl as Jeana Flores of Antioch. Flores was found deceased with multiple injuries about 3:33 a.m. Friday on the side of the roadway in the area of L Street between West 18th and West 10th streets."
"At first her death was investigated as being suspicious but the autopsy results have resulted in the case now being handled by the police Traffic Safety Unit. Police have not said why they believe Flores was in the area or if they have other evidence that she was struck by a vehicle. No vehicle or driver information has been released. Police have previously said Flores was not registered in the Antioch Unified School District."
