Missing woman rescued by helicopter after being stranded on Monterey County beach for more than 24 hours

After an extensive search, first responders rescued a 68-year-old woman who had been stranded for 25 hours on a beach due to injuries.
The California Highway Patrol faced challenges in their initial search efforts due to unfavorable weather conditions, which prevented helicopter deployment.
Once the weather improved, rescue teams located her vehicle and subsequently found the woman on a rocky beach at Kirk Creek.
Upon her rescue, the woman was flown to safety by helicopter, where she was treated for moderate injuries and reunited with her husband.
