Cassidy Arnold, 33, died on Nov. 26 after suffering complications related to an emergency C-section, leaving two children. The family created a GoFundMe to cover funeral expenses, medical bills and long-term support for the children and has raised more than $61,000 of a $70,000 goal. Arnold managed the child care program and kids' summer programs at Heavenly Ski Resort and cared for both employees' and guests' children. She advocated for and helped expand year-round, affordable child care for employees beginning this summer. Colleagues and family described her as a cornerstone of the resort community, known for calm energy and unwavering care.
