His age was not immediately available. The stabbing happened about 11:56 a.m. Wednesday in the 600 block of Oakland Avenue north of Interstate 580, not far from the Piedmont Avenue area."

After the stabbing the suspect tried to flee on foot but was captured by police on nearby Moss Avenue, authorities said. He was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon."
