"The Yukon kept going but the targeted driver was able to get its license plate, which he gave to CHP dispatchers when he reported the shooting. The CHP alerted other area law enforcement agencies. The Yukon was spotted by San Leandro police about 11:25 a.m. in the area of Williams Street and Aurora Drive. Officers stopped the vehicle and arrested Guerrero, who was tased when he resisted officers, authorities said."
Luis Guerrero, 36, was charged with attempted murder, assault with a semi-automatic firearm, shooting at an occupied motor vehicle, carrying a concealed firearm within a vehicle, and carrying a loaded firearm in public stemming from a June 11 freeway road rage incident. The alleged victim, driving a Tesla, reported that Guerrero pulled alongside his vehicle on eastbound I-580 near Flynn Road and fired several shots; the driver was not injured. The Tesla driver recorded the Yukon’s license plate and reported the shooting to CHP, leading to Guerrero’s arrest by San Leandro police. Officers tased Guerrero when he resisted; investigators recovered an unregistered .45 pistol and shell casings in the Yukon. Guerrero made bail and his current whereabouts are unknown.
