Livermore man complained of problems with roommate before fatal stabbing, police say
"Alameda County prosecutors have charged a man with murdering his roommate inside the home they shared, a crime that reportedly went undiscovered for so long that the victim's body badly decomposed inside the dwelling, court records show. Brayam Adoni Chirinos, 30, was arrested on Dec. 3, in San Francisco, driving the car of the man he allegedly killed, authorities said."
"Police began investigating on Nov. 28, when Hurst's brother reported him missing a report that was quickly followed by a woman's 911 call that she could see inside Hurst's home and he appeared to be dead on the kitchen floor. Authorities say they found evidence that Chirinos was stabbed to death with a kitchen knife inside his residence, on the 1000 block of North P Street, on Nov. 28, according to court records."

Chirinos allegedly confessed to the killing. He was booked without bail on suspicion of murder. Prosecutors formally charged him on Friday.
