Eric Campbell, 47, of Eureka, was reported missing on September 18 after rescuers found his campsite at Patrick Creek empty except for his pets.
Search teams, utilizing ground crews, drones, and helicopters, are actively searching for Campbell while the sheriff's office requests that the public avoid the area.
