Crozier Fire containment reaches 91%, evacuation order fully lifted, Cal Fire says
Briefly

Containment of the Crozier Fire reached 91% as of Friday morning, following ten days of firefighting efforts that began when the fire ignited on August 6, near Slate Mountain.
The fire burned approximately 1,938 acres and has remained primarily smoldering in rugged terrain within the established fire perimeter, presenting ongoing challenges for containment efforts.
Evacuation orders were lifted by Thursday afternoon, although authorities continue to urge caution for travelers in the Mosquito and Swansboro areas as fire crews finish their work.
The Crozier Fire expanded rapidly after it ignited, initially burning about 244 acres within hours and subsequently tripling in size overnight, with its cause currently under investigation.
