Shannon O'Connor of Los Gatos was found guilty of 48 felony counts including sexual battery, child endangerment, and providing alcohol to minors. She orchestrated illicit sex parties for teenagers, including her own son, primarily at her $4 million San Jose mansion and vacation rentals throughout the 2020-2021 school year. Most victims were 14-year-old freshmen from Los Gatos High School. O'Connor allegedly plied teens with alcohol and watched as they engaged in sexual acts. Victims testified they were treated as sex objects with no escape from the parties. The jury convicted O'Connor on charges involving every child who testified. She faces up to 30 years in prison.
