CAL FIRE planning 2 large prescribed burns in Sonoma County Monday
Briefly

"We're starting to get a little bit of precipitation -- not quite enough," said CAL FIRE spokesperson, Jason Clay. Fire danger remains high, despite the rain.
"We have the resources at hand that are available to do this work, we have some good windows given the weather, so all the stars are aligning for us to do this important proactive work," said Clay.
"For the prescribed burns - if it's keeping everybody safe, that's a good thing," said Hilary Rragami from Santa Rosa, highlighting community support for the burns.
"Lots of smoke, I can count on that," said Rragami, emphasizing the expected aftermath of the controlled burns at local state parks.
