Breaking: Crozier Fire: Ignited today, already fully contained
Briefly

As of Monday morning, 1,960 acres of land had been destroyed by the Crozier Fire and the fire crew had successfully encircled the entire perimeter of it in control lines.
While 100% containment means that firefighters have surrounded the perimeter to prevent further spread, it doesn't mean the fire is completely extinguished or controlled.
Containment is part of a larger plan for managing a wildfire, expressed as a percentage which reflects the extent of the control line completed.
The incident's central command relies on progress reports from firefighters on the ground to adjust the containment percentage based on the construction and inspection of firelines.
