Breaking - Man shot by Redwood City police
"Neighbor Daisy Morales told the Post that she got home from work around 3:10 p.m. and saw police on her street. A few minutes later, she heard six gunshots and saw police run into her neighbor's home. An ambulance came and Morales saw a man taken out of the home on a gurney, she said. The man was taken to the hospital in critical condition, said San Mateo County District Attorney Steve Wagstaffe."
"The man's current condition is not known. Firefighters were called to the 100 block of Hemlock Avenue, not far from the Five Points intersection, at 2:53 p.m., according to fire dispatch logs. Hemlock Avenue between Madrone and Linden streets is closed. Police and the DA's office are on scene investigating. As is protocol in San Mateo County, when there is an officer involved shooting, the DA's office investigates the case."

A resident, Daisy Morales, arrived home around 3:10 p.m., heard six gunshots, and saw officers enter a neighbor’s house. An ambulance removed a man from the home on a gurney. San Mateo County District Attorney Steve Wagstaffe said the man was taken to the hospital in critical condition; his current status is unknown. Fire dispatch logs show firefighters were called to the 100 block of Hemlock Avenue at 2:53 p.m., and Hemlock Avenue between Madrone and Linden streets is closed.
