Areas from the south of Portland, Oregon, to north of San Francisco are expected to receive particularly severe rainfall, with the storm likely causing numerous flash floods and hazardous travel.
In northern California, flood and high wind watches are in effect, forecasting up to 8 inches of rain in the Bay Area, along with winter storm conditions in higher elevations.
