Bay Area wages rose at a 4.7% annual pace in the first quarter, up from 2.8% in the previous three months. Southern California only saw 4.5% raises in the same period.
Despite recent technology job cuts in California seen through the quarter, average salaries have remained steady, especially in the Bay Area.
