Ivan Salvador Ochoa Munguia, 26, of Vallejo, faces multiple counts of premeditated attempted murder and related felonies after two Berkeley hit-and-run collisions. Charges include using a motor vehicle as a deadly weapon, leaving the scene causing injury, unlawful or attempted unlawful driving or taking a vehicle, receiving stolen property, and sentencing enhancements for deadly weapon use and great bodily injury. Two victims — a 46-year-old woman jogging and a 30-year-old man walking a dog — were struck on Belrose Avenue; a 78-year-old bicyclist was later found on Derby Street. All victims were hospitalized in stable condition. Police linked him to two carjackings and arrested him after an attempted theft in a vehicle reported stolen from Richmond.
