A 31-year-old San Jose man allegedly brandished a firearm during a verbal dispute with a woman outside an East San Jose address on June 2 at about 8:40 a.m. Detectives investigated and determined the man was barred from owning guns, leading to arrest and search warrants. Officers arrested the man in Santa Clara on Oct. 9 on suspicion of brandishing a firearm and being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm. A search of his residence yielded two guns and various calibers of ammunition. The man was booked into Santa Clara County jail and authorities seek additional information from the public.
