An early-morning altercation near Lone Tree Way and W. Tregallas Road left a man hospitalized in critical condition. Officers found the victim down and transported him to a hospital where he remained critical. Authorities arrested 34-year-old Brandon Rowlett, an unhoused Antioch resident, on suspicion of attempted homicide and booked him at the West County Detention Facility in Richmond in lieu of $500,000 bail. Rowlett was arrested about 8:30 a.m. the following day. Investigators have not identified a motive or established whether the suspect and victim knew each other.
