(KGO) -- Berkeley police are investigating after multiple people were injured in a series of incidents Tuesday morning, including a hit-and-run incident involving pedestrians and an attempted carjacking. Shortly after, officers found and arrested the suspect in the 2800 block of College Avenue. Berkeley police say three adult victims were transported to the hospital and they are currently investigating five separate crime scenes. Police are asking people to avoid the area and to contact them with any information or video."

Officers located the suspect's damaged car with a cracked windshield on College Avenue, then found and arrested the suspect nearby. Three adult victims were transported to the hospital. Police are investigating five separate crime scenes and ask the public to avoid the area and share information or video. Berkeley Unified School District reports no students or staff were impacted.
