Police responded to reports of gunshots in the 3100 block of Joanne Circle in Pleasanton just after 10 a.m. Two adults were found inside the home shot multiple times and were pronounced dead at the scene. Neighbors reported hearing a gunshot, and one resident described the early-morning shooting as disturbing in a normally peaceful town. Police say the incident appears to be isolated and have made no arrests. Victim identities will not be released until next of kin are notified. Authorities asked anyone with information to contact the Pleasanton Police Department at (925) 931-5100.
