GSA announced a deal with Snowflake to provide federal agencies discounted rates for selected technology services. The agreement is part of the OneGov initiative, which negotiates pricing with multiple firms by treating the federal government as a single centralized customer. The initiative has already produced deals with companies including Microsoft, SAP, and Palo Alto Networks. Under the Snowflake terms, new federal users receive a 20% discount on computer services and a 26.67% discount on storage. Compute discounts can increase up to 50% as overall usage grows. The savings are available until Sept. 30, 2027. GSA reported more than $1.15 billion in savings since launching OneGov in April 2025.
