The new study confirmed that they are investing in "both foundational and emerging" technologies, with significant engagement in both 5G networks and AI, marking a pivotal shift for SMBs in the digital era.
More than one-third (38%) included digital capabilities to assist their transition to online operations, indicating that the surge in technology adoption is not just a trend, but a vital necessity for survival in the competitive landscape.
Two-thirds (66%) of respondents in the study indicated that their business added or upgraded its internet connection to provide greater bandwidth and 61% upgraded routers or extenders to improve their wireless signal, emphasizing the increasing demand for robust digital infrastructure.
