According to a recent survey by Charles Schwab, U.S. workers are increasingly confident about meeting their retirement goals, with 43% believing they are very likely to succeed.
While inflation and market volatility are still major concerns, there is a notable uptick in worker engagement with 401(k) investments and these figures reflect a promising trend.
The survey revealed that only 8% of workers are unaware of their 401(k) investments, down from 12% last year, signifying improved awareness and confidence in financial planning.
Despite ongoing economic challenges, 69% of workers reported being knowledgeable about their investment choices in their 401(k) accounts, an increase from 65% in 2023.
