"The brands rising to the top are doing more than just selling coffee and snacks. They're building communities inside their stores."
"As in-store sales outpace fuel and digital tools become table stakes, the brands that will win are those that double down on quality, innovation, and authentic connection."
"Watch out, Wawa, there's a new leader of the C-store pack."
Kwik Trip topped the American Customer Satisfaction Index convenience-store rankings with 84 points, improving six points from last year. Sheetz and Wawa tied at 82, QuikTrip scored 80, and Buc-ee's scored 79. Results come from 8,601 completed surveys indexed to a 100-point scale. Customers prioritized mobile apps, store hours and locations, helpful staff, and food and beverage quality. Convenience stores are shifting emphasis from fuel to in-store sales, focusing on food quality, service, and digital tools. Loyalty rewards drive frequency: nearly two-thirds of rewards members visited their preferred chain weekly, versus less than half of nonmembers.
