Ticketmaster is poised to be the first ticketing company to utilize the new features in Apple Wallet, providing enhanced ticket information such as venue maps and weather forecasts.
The integration will allow teams and event spaces to link their own apps or websites to tickets in Wallet, extending customer engagement.
This initial rollout is focused on two sporting events this year, with plans to expand to additional events in 2025.
