Sluggish enterprise tech adoption has cost the UK economy billions

According to the Cebr study, UK-based firms could have added £111 billion in turnover by 2023 through increased tech adoption, creating 676,000 jobs.
Nina Skero emphasized the importance of digital leadership, stating, 'Our findings clearly illustrate how digital leadership is directly linked to higher turnover, increased productivity and better performance across every economic metric.'
Despite investment in technology, a significant proportion of UK firms have not implemented essential digital skills programs or enhanced cybersecurity measures.
Bruce Daisley noted, 'The data shows that many businesses have already made significant investments in digital technology, but now they just need to put it to work by focusing on maximizing the tools already at their disposal.'
