The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it."
"Some disgruntled JPMorgan Chase workers are pushing back against CEO Jamie Dimon's five-day return to office edict but others worry defying orders would be a career suicide, according to a report. Dimon's return-to-office orders in early 2025 prompted a petition seeking to reverse the change. The petition has been signed by about 2,000 of the bank's 300,000-plus global employees. But many employees are fearful of the consequences of speaking out."
