Vince McMahon's criminal investigation regarding alleged sexual misconduct has been dropped by federal prosecutors in Manhattan. The probe examined claims that he attempted to conceal allegations from two former employees by paying them a total of $10.5 million. Although a recent ruling by the Second Circuit Court of Appeals indicated ongoing inquiries, McMahon's legal counsel assures the investigation has concluded without any indictment. A prior ruling suggested probable cause that McMahon may have violated internal company controls, complicating the narrative around the allegations against him.
"This is simply the result of an appeal of a procedural matter that was argued five months ago," Allen told The Post. "We have been in consistent communication with the government..."
Federal judge Valerie Caproni ruled in June 2024 that the government had "established probable cause to believe" that McMahon and one of his former lawyers broke the law.
