Airbnb's testing a 'kitchen stocking' service that lets guests place Instacart orders before their stay | TechCrunch
"Airbnb is piloting a service with Instacart that will allow guests to order groceries directly through the Airbnb app before and during their stay, Bloomberg reports. Airbnb will offer the "kitchen stocking" service during a three-month pilot program starting on January 5, according to an email sent to hosts, the report said. The new service will be available to select hosts with available listings in Phoenix, Orlando and Los Angeles, the report said."
"If hosts receive their guests' pre-orders and put them away before they check in, they will receive $25. They will also receive a $100 bonus for their first completed order. Guests will be able to place orders on Instacart from the Airbnb app up to three weeks before their stay. The new partnership with Instacart marks the latest addition to Airbnb's "Services," which launched in May and allow guests to book services and experiences, like getting a massage, haircut, or chef-prepared meal."
