A UK survey of 2,000 full- and part-time adult workers reveals widespread workplace communication problems. In London, 31% of workers believe they would be happier if organisational communication improved, and nearly half (47%) rated their company's communication 5 or less out of 10. Across the region, 19% rated workplace communication as "poor" (three out of ten or less) while 29% rated employers "very good" (eight or higher). Women (35%) were likelier than men (29%) to link better communication with greater engagement. Younger workers (18–34) showed lower engagement, with 43% wanting better communication versus 32% for those over 35.
