Cam Thomas, the Nets' leading scorer, is sidelined due to a left hamstring strain that has resulted in significant missed games. After initially injuring himself on Nov. 25, he returned but suffered a further injury on Jan. 2. The Nets have posted a poor 1-9 record during his absence. Coach Jordi Fernandez acknowledged Thomas's progress in recovery, noting he is now engaging in on-court activities but still needs time before returning to play. The team is hopeful for his quick return as they navigate a difficult stretch.

He's done a great job and everything looks good. We know he’ll be back soon.
