George Capella, a Williamsburg resident, was arrested for allegedly running a large drug operation, with authorities seizing significant quantities of cocaine and fentanyl.
After an eight-month investigation that involved wiretaps, law enforcement confiscated approximately 33 kilograms of cocaine, over six kilograms of fentanyl, and $420,000 in cash.
Capella's arrest on Dec. 4 followed a raid where officials found eight loaded firearms and various drug paraphernalia at his home and in his vehicles.
This operation reportedly involved a large-scale distribution network, showcasing the extent of drug trafficking concerns in the Williamsburg area.
