Ezenekwe talked about the moment of the attempted robbery, saying, 'He started yelling and calling me all sorts of names. He said: Don't let me kill you here.' I didn't take him literally because he was saying so many things already.'
Reflecting on the incident, Ezenekwe acknowledged, 'I've lived in New York City for more than 25 years. As for whether I'm still going to live in New York City, that is a decision that I'm going to have to consider.'
Prince Ezenekwe, recovering from his injuries, expressed gratitude for his survival: 'I consider myself lucky to live to talk about it.' His experience serves as a cautionary tale.
Recalling the incident, Ezenekwe stated, 'Then he opened the car door, stepped out the car... and then he said: I will have to kill you.' It escalated quickly into a terrifying situation.
