Briefly

The beloved Feast of Santa Rosalia returns for its 50th anniversary in Bensonhurst, celebrating Italian-American culture through food, music, and tradition from Aug. 15-25.
At a festival kickoff celebration on Aug. 15, Grand Marshal Briella Tomassetti shared her fond memories of attending the feast as a child, saying, "Looking at all of you makes me think of my family and my heritage."
With delights like the Cannoli Eating Contest and performances by international artists, the festival captures the spirit of Italian traditions and community pride.
Ending with a grand parade and mass at St. Dominic Church, the festival not only honors cultural roots but also promotes community togetherness and celebration.
