Two unknown assailants on Razor scooters attempted to steal an 88-year-old woman's purse in Sunset Park, causing her multiple facial fractures.
The woman resisted the theft attempt, but unfortunately suffered significant injuries including tooth damage, highlighting the violent nature of the crime.
As of now, the New York City Police Department has not made any arrests, but has provided detailed descriptions of the suspects to aid in the investigation.
The police described one suspect as a man in a ski mask and a Raiders shirt, while the other suspect was identified as a woman in casual athletic wear.
