"EAST FLATBUSH - A SCHOOL SAFETY agent at I.S. 285, the Meyer Levin Middle School for the Performing Arts, in East Flatbush suffered a knife wound to the calf on Wednesday, after intervening in a brawl between two students, the New York Post reports . The fight broke out on Beverly Road, outside the school, at 3:10 p.m., before the agent, age 53, stepped in to try to halt it."
"It wasn't clear whether she was stabbed accidentally or intentionally. She was brought to Kings County Hospital in stable condition. One child was taken into custody in relation to the incident. Police are continuing to investigate."
