According to multiple media reports, rapper Busta Rhymes has been accused of allegedly assaulting a 50-year-old assistant multiple times in the face in Dumbo.
Rhymes, 52, whose real name is Trevor Tahiem Smith Jr, turned himself in to the police and currently faces three assault charges after the incident on January 10th.
The incident, which left the assistant in stable condition at a local hospital, may have stemmed from a dispute over the assistant's use of a phone during work hours.
