The Los Altos police have released a sketch of a suspect in an assault that left an 89-year-old man unconscious after being struck in the head.
The suspect is described as a white male approximately between 20 to 40 years of age, around six feet tall and weighing 180 pounds.
The assault occurred on September 16, when the victim was assaulted and left with life-threatening head injuries on the railroad tracks.
Investigators have detained and questioned a person of interest who may have had a connection to the victim, as the case develops.
