A man was fatally struck by back-to-back hit-and-run drivers - the second such crash in two weeks.
"New York City must also do more to hold hit-and-run drivers accountable. It's unacceptable that two drivers hit a fellow New Yorker and kept driving," said Transportation Alternatives Executive Director Danny Harris after Sandiford's death.
There were no arrests by Tuesday as police continued to investigate.
