According to the report by RentHop, New York City retains its title for the most zip codes with the highest median rent in the U.S., housing 39 of the top 100.
The report highlighted that two Manhattan zip codes, including 10007 (Tribeca) and 10282 (Battery Park City), are among the top ten most expensive areas for rental with median rents exceeding $6,000.
The only Queens zip code to make the list, 11109, covers Hunters Point in Long Island City, with median monthly rents notably high due to its desirable location near Manhattan.
Brooklyn's eight most expensive zip codes reflect the high demand in neighborhoods like Williamsburg and Greenpoint, fueled by new developments and renovated homes with outdoor amenities.
