Northeast sees more snow from the tail end of a colossal winter storm, at least 18 deaths reported

Freezing rain in the South snapped tree limbs and power lines, causing over 800,000 outages, concentrated in northern Mississippi and parts of Tennessee. Some homes and businesses could be without electricity for at least a week. Residents used generators for heat and phone charging, and many homes and vehicles suffered storm-related damage.
